Photo Flash: 50 SHADES! Celebrates First Year Off-Broadway

50 Shades! The Musical Parody recently celebrated its first anniversary Off-Broadway at The Elektra Theatre - check out photos from the big night below!

The cast features Daniel Bentley (Hairspray), Jack Boice (Phantom of the Opera International Tour), Tim Murray(MTV's "White House Down"), Amber Petty (voice of Sirius/XM's Radio Margaritaville), Caroline Reade (Evita),Casey Rogers (Catch Me If You Can), Alec Varcas (Spamalot), Ashley Ward (Baby Wants Candy), Chloe Williamson(Save The Date) and Zach Kononov (Spring Awakening).

Since author E.L. James' book was published, more than 100 million copies have been sold worldwide. The novel became the fastest selling paperback book ever, beating out J.K Rowling's Harry Potter series, and was on the New York Times' Best Sellers List for 16 weeks straight. There have been more than 60 printings of the book and Universal Studios will release the film on February 14, 2015. The book has made reading erotica on the subway acceptable.

50 Shades! The Musical Parody has a book by Al Samuels, Amanda Blake Davis, Emily Dorezas, Jody Shelton,Ashley Ward, and Dan Wessels, and music and lyrics by Amanda Blake Davis, Jody Shelton, Ashley Ward, Al Samuels and Dan Wessels. Set and Costume Design is by John Dunnett, Lighting Design is by Herrick Goldman, and Sound Design is by Matt Kraus. 50 Shades! The Musical Parody is choreographed by Mindy Cooper with musical direction by Michael Thomas Murray and Joy Dewing is the casting director.
