PAGE 73 has announced the world premiere of JUDY, a new play by 2012 P73 Playwriting Fellow Max Posner. Directed by two-time Obie Award-Winner Ken Rus Schmoll, JUDY features Obie Award-Winner Deirdre O'Connell, Obie Award-Winner Birgit Huppuch, and Danny Wolohan. JUDY begins previews on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at The New Ohio Theatre (154 Christopher Street) with an opening date currently set for Thursday, September 10, 2015 to run through Saturday, September 26, 2015.

It's the winter of 2040, when the world has changed - but maybe not by much. Timothy's wife has just left him, and he isn't taking it well. His sisters, Tara and Kris, are trying to help him cope while tending to their own love lives. The three seem to spend a lot of time in their basements, and their kids are starting to ask questions. Judy is a subterranean comedy about life when technology fails and human connection is just out of reach.

Scenic design is by Arnulfo Mald0naldo (Generations), with lighting design by Eric Southern (Pocatello), sound design by Leah Gelpe (The Invisible Hand), and costume design by Jessica Pabst (The Heidi Chronicles).

Full cast will be announced at a later date. Tickets for JUDY go on sale on in August.
