'Night of the Iguana' by Tennessee Williams, Begins 2/21

T. Schreiber Studio is pleased to announce their production of The Night of the Iguana, by Tennessee Williams, directed by Terry Schreiber. The Night of the Iguana will play a 6-week limited engagement at the Gloria Maddox Theater at T. Schreiber Studio (151 West 26th Street, 7th Floor). Performances begin Thursday, February 21 and continue through Sunday, March 30.

"The Reverend T. Lawrence Shannon confronts the demons of frantic sexuality, religious guilt and emotional confusion as he learns from both the earthly simplicity of Maxine Faulk and the cool serenity of Hannah Jelkes," explain press notes.

The cast features Peter Aguero, Bruce Colbertian, Campbell Dunn, Loren Dunn, Denise Fiore, Peter Judd, Alecia Medley, Armando Merlo, Pat Patterson, Derek Roche, Janet Saia, Jenny Strassburg, Gail Willwerth Upp and Guito Wingfield.  Directed by Terry Schreiber.

The production features scenic design by George Allison (IT Award Recipient for his work on T. Schreiber's Picasso at the Lapin Agile), costume design by Karen Ann Ledger (nominated for an IT Award for the same production), and lighting design by Andrea Buccanfuso (also nominated for an IT Award for Picasso). Christopher Rummel is the sound designer and Eliza Jane Bowman is the stage manager.

The Night of the Iguana plays the following regular schedule through Sunday, March 30: Thursdays at 8PM, Fridays at 8PM, Saturdays at 8PM and Sundays at 3PM.

A suggested donation of $20.00 (Senior $15; General Student $17) is requested, and advanced tickets can be purchased online at www.theatermania.com or by calling 212-352-3101. Tickets may also be purchased in person one hour prior to the show at The Gloria Maddox Theatre.
