LIVE AT THE LORTEL Podcast Announces August 2019 Schedule

Following another highly successful round of tapings earlier this month, The Lucille Lortel Theatre Foundation has announced the next group of guests confirmed for "Live at the Lortel," their podcast focused on Off-Broadway and the arts. Each taping lasts about 60 minutes - 45 minutes of moderated conversation and 15 minutes for audience questions. As always, tickets are free to the public and can be reserved by visiting www.liveatthelortel.com.

Sunday, August 4 7:00 PM Halley Feiffer

An actor and playwright whose plays have been produced, commissioned and developed by several highly regarded New York theatre companies. Ms. Feiffer's latest work, Moscow Moscow Moscow Moscow Moscow Moscow, can currently be seen at MCC.

Tuesday, August 6 6:00 PM Lee Sunday Evans

2019 Lucille Lortel Award winner for Outstanding Director (Dance Nation) - Ms. Evans' next project is Sunday, for Atlantic Theater Company, which begins performances September 4.

8:30 PM John Glover

A Tony and Obie Award winner for his performance as twin brothers in Love! Valour! Compassion!, Mr. Glover returns to the stage beginning September 10 in Fern Hill at 59E59 Theaters.

Friday, August 9 3:00 PM Marsha Mason

The legendary actress and director is a four-time Oscar nominee and winner of two Golden Globe Awards. Ms. Mason has appeared in countless productions on New York stages and can currently be seen Off-Broadway in Little Gem for Irish Repertory Theatre.

"Live at the Lortel" offers audiences an opportunity to hear from favorite stage performers and artists in an intimate setting - the 299-seat Lucille Lortel Theatre. Guided by host, interviewer, and professional theatre- lover Eric Ostrow, these conversations dig deep into the artists' work and career, including past, current, and future projects. You never know where the conversation might go, but you can be sure it will always be fun, fascinating, and informative. It's a fantastic way to celebrate Off-Broadway and a love of theatre.
