Just in time for the holidays, and in celebration of the first performance of Beasley's Christmas Party on December 2, Keen Company (Artistic Director Carl Forsman, Executive Director Wayne Kelton) has announced a special ticket package for Beasley's and the upcoming, highly anticipated New York premiere of Heroes (translation by Tom Stoppard; starring John Cullum and Tony Roberts): 2-Show subscription for only $66 (all fees included), a savings of nearly 30%off full price tickets to both shows.

Additional subscriber benefits include: First choice of seats to all productions; Ticket exchange privileges; One free ticket (per subscription) to each of Keen Company's "Chestnuts" readings ($20 to the general public). Remaining Chestnuts readings this season: Why Marry by Jesse Lynch Williams (December 15 @ 7pm) and I Never Sang for my Father by Robert Anderson (March 23 @ 7pm).

From Booth Tarkington, the American author of "The Magnificent Ambersons," comes Beasley's Christmas Party, the story of a curious journalist and his extremely unusual next door neighbors - a turn of the last century Midwestern gubernatorial candidate, his amazing houseguest, and their wide circle of very special friends. Beasley's Christmas Party, directed by Carl Forsman and written with the perfect mix of heart and humor, is the perfect holiday treat this season running December 2 - January 3 at Theatre Row.

An evocative comedy about three World War I veterans living in a veterans' home who plot a new assault - a trip to a stand of trees in the distance. But should they bring the stone dog with them? And does the stone dog move sometimes? Author Gérald Sibleyras calls Heroes a play "about the universal desire to escape the confines of life." Winner of London's Olivier Award for Best New Comedy in 2006, Keen Company presents its New York debut directed by Carl Forsman.

Keen Company produces sincere plays with the belief that theater is at its most powerful when texts and productions are generous in spirit and provoke identification. Inspired by the works of early 20th Century American playwrights, Keen Company demonstrates that an earnest intent can still be sophisticated and is unafraid of emotional candor, vulnerability, and optimism. Keen Company seeks to create a culture of artists, technicians, administrators and audiences who share a desire to invigorate the theater with productions that connect audiences through humor, heart and hope. Keen Company is in residence at Theatre Row.

Beasley's Christmas Party, the first annual holiday offering by Keen Company, plays the following schedule at The Clurman Theatre / Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street, between 9th and 10th Avenues): Tuesday at 7pm, Wednesday through Saturday at 8pm, and Sunday at 3pm.
