HOW TO BE A NEW YORKER, the new Off-Broadway comedy written and performed by Margaret Copeland and Kevin James Doyle, is the newest participant in the bi-annual Off Broadway Alliance 20at20 promotion. $20 tickets (which include lunch) will be available at all performances through September 22nd only at Sofia's Downstairs Theater in the heart of Times Square.

20at20 makes $20 tickets available for more than 30 popular Off-Broadway plays and musicals 20 minutes before curtain. Now in its sixth year, 20at20 has become one of New York's most eagerly anticipated promotions for budget-conscious theatregoers. All 20at20 ticket sales are cash only.

You too can experience the privilege, respect and air of superiority enjoyed by millions who call themselves New Yorkers. But it requires training, even if you were born here. Let us show you how to develop the instincts for disdainful glances, peevish muttering and innate rudeness that distinguish true New Yorkers. Under the direction of OBIE Award winner Robert Ross Parker, the hilarious new comedy HOW TO BE A NEW YORKER shows audiences everything they ever needed to know about what it takes to be a real New Yorker, or at least not stand out as a tourist. Actors/Comedians and licensed NYC tour guides, Margaret Copeland and Kevin James Doyle, take you on a whirlwind comedic romp filled with stories from the world's largest landfill in Staten Island to the home of the Bronx Bombers. Full Italian lunch is catered by Sophia's Ristorante Italiano - a NYC tradition. Whether you're a local, transplant or tourist, HOW TO BE A NEW YORKER is fun for everyone.

HOW TO BE A NEW YORKER plays Wednesdays and Saturdays at 2 PM. Pre-show lunch is served beginning at 1:30 PM at Sofia's Downstairs Theater, 221 West 46 Street (Broadway & Eighth Ave.) Regular priced tickets are $45 and are available by calling 212-352-3101 or through www.How2BaNewYorker.com.
