FRIGID New York presents "my life of crime", written and performed by Stephanie Stephenson, directed by Mary Joan Negro. FRIGID New York Festival runs from February 24th through March 7th.

A Winn Dixie Supermarket. Daytona Beach, Florida. Circa 1970s. A stolen pack of Trident gum. An eight year old thief. Her mother. The Boyfriends. The Husbands. Jim "Bo Bo" Lehrer. And (of course), Jesus. It's a crowded crime scene, especially considering it's a one woman show. Stephanie Stephenson's acclaimed show comes to New York Frigid - join her as she graduates from minor theft to bigger crimes that might just have a real impact on her life...find out if she can stop her thieving ways!

Stephanie Stephenson is an actor and writer living in Los Angeles. She performed her previous play, Husband Fatigue, at L.A. Solo Asylum with C.A.F.E. / Off Market Theatres (directed by Mary Joan Negro), and at The Powerhouse Theatre with What's the Story Festival LA (directed by Stacie Chaiken). She also performed her original play, (ral-?-pop), at the Elephant Theatre in Los Angeles, and founded (ral-?-pop) Theatre to facilitate self-producing original plays. She has performed regionally with the Utah Shakespearean Festival Tour and with ACT in Seattle, Washington. She is a graduate of the University of Washington MFA Acting Program under Steve Pearson.

Director Mary Joan Negro was a member of the first graduating class of the Juilliard Drama Division headed by John Houseman. She became a founding member of Houseman's The Acting Company, performing on Broadway and on tour throughout the U.S. She has acted on Broadway, off-Broadway, at repertory companies, and at the O'Neill Playwrights Conference. She received a Tony Award nomination for her performance in Arthur Kopit's play Wings directed by John Madden. She has also guest starred in countless television movies, mini-series, episodic, soaps, and sit-coms. Presently, Ms. Negro is working as a director and a teacher in the BA, BFA and MFA programs at USC.

Dramaturg Deb Theaker graduated from the University of Saskatchewan. An alumni of Second City, Deb has performed with the London, Toronto, and Chicago troupes, earning a Dora (Canada's equivalent of the Tony) for writing. She earned a Cable Ace nomination as Best Actress for Maniac Mansion, by Lucasfilm. She is a member of Christopher Guest's cinematic repertory company, appearing in four of his comedies. She has appeared on Entourage, Desperate Housewives, and Curb Your Enthusiasm. She has co-written and directed three solo shows for Kid In The Hall, Scott Thompson and appears in the upcoming Kids' miniseries, Death Comes To Town. She was recently nominated as Best Supporting Actress opposite Mickey Rooney in the upcoming feature Gerald at the Downbeach Film Festival.
