Original NEWSical cast member Christina Bianco returns to Off-Broadway's smash hit NEWSical The Musical on January 29th one week prior to Carson Kressley's premiere. Bianco replaces Hairspray vet Susan Mosher who is leaving the production to star in Gordon Greenberg's The Single Girls Guide at Capital Repertory. Bianco was seen in NEWSical for three years spoofing everyone and everything from Sarah Palin's political ambitions, to Kim Kardashian's short-lived first marriage, to Lady Gaga's fight for equality, to Christina Aguilera's memorable National Anthem mishap. With Bianco's return to NEWSical so will the fan-favorite sketch involving Celine Dion's take on "The Hokey Pokey".

Emmy-winning television star Carson Kressley joins the cast of off Broadway's NEWSical The Musical for four weeks only. Kressley is the latest star to grace the NEWSical The Musical stage. Previously, celebrity gossip guru Perez Hilton joined the show for a limited run, followed by Broadway's original Annie, Andrea McArdle and most recently, Saturday Night Live's Cheri Oteri. Carson Kressley will appear in NEWSical The Musical from February 6th - March 3rd.

NEWSical the Musical is the forever changing, completely un-sanitized musical mockery of all the news that's fit to spoof. From Honey Boo Boo Child to Lance Armstrong to Obama's Inauguration, NEWSical The Musical sets all of today's biggest pop culture headlines to song. The Associated Press calls it "The Daily Show set to music!" and the show was named Best New Musical of 2011 by the Off Broadway Alliance.
The show also features Christine Pedi (Sirius XM Host, Little Me, Talk Radio), Michael West (When Pigs Fly, Forbidden Broadway,), Tommy Walker (Evil Dead The Musical), Emily McNamara (NYC Nightlife star) and Ryan Knowles (host of Nickelodeon's ME:TV).
Rick Crom is the creator and writer of NEWSical The Musical. He has appeared on Broadway in Urinetown, Footloose and The Goodbye Girl. On television, he appeared on FX's critically acclaimed series "Louie" starring comedian Louis C.K.
NEWSical the Musical is directed by Mark Waldrop (When Pigs Fly, My Deah, Inventing Avi, Papermill Playhouse's Gypsy) and produced by Tom D'Angora (Naked Boys Singing!, ICONS, Broadway Diva Christmas, Divas I've Done). Rounding out the creative team are Ed Goldschneider (music director), Jason Courson (set designer), and Ryan Obermeier (stage manager)
