Lance Horne: 9/9 @ 9
As part of their UNCHARTED series, Ars Nova will present multi-talented musical visionary Lance Horne, who will usher in the fall with nine brand new songs written especially for this 9/9 show. Composed over the last nine nights of the Perseid meteor shower, these ethereal, ravishing compositions will sweep you into autumn on a wave of lyric-driven, piano infused sound. Horne's adrenaline-fueled music is equal parts sexy and sly, and will haunt you long into the cold winter nights. For one night only, he will be joined by all-star musicians Yair Evnine, Josh Giunta, Jessica Hershberg, Nicolas Wincenc and special guests Lea Delaria and Alice Ripley. This one night only performance will be Tuesday, September 9th at 9 PM. Tickets will be $15.

UNCHARTED blasts through industry blockades, spotlighting New York's pioneering music makers on the brink of being discovered. This vibrant forum for new music showcases musical theater artists, rock concerts and everything in between.

STRAIGHT UP VAMPIRE
From the brilliantly demented minds that brought you Ars Nova's smash hit Jollyship the Whiz-Bang comes Straight Up Vampire: The History of Vampires in Colonial Pennsylvania as Performed to the Music of Paula Abdul. This spooky musical hayride through fake American history tells the tale of Paula Abdul Blackwood, a beautiful quaker girl trapped in a star-crossed love affair with an idealistic young vampire. Everywhere there is dissent. Fractious parties debate the future of the colony. MC Skat Kat and Benjamin Franklin vie for power in the Assembly. A gothic political romance set to the music of Paula Abdul, as performed by members of the rock band Jollyship the Whiz-Bang, with special guests Corn Mo, The O'Debra Twins and more! Written by Nick Jones, Zak Vreeland and Peter J. Cook. Directed by Peter J. Cook. This one night only performance will be Thursday, September 11th at 8 PM. Tickets will be $15.
