Adam Heller Completes Cast of Second Stage Theatre's WINGS, Previews 10/5

Adam Heller has joined the cast of Second Stage Theatre's production of Arthur Kopit's acclaimed play WINGS. Directed by Tony Award winner John Doyle (Sweeney Todd, Company), WINGS will begin previews at Second Stage Theatre (305 West 43rd street) on Tuesday, October 5. The production will officially open on Sunday, October 24.

Adam Heller has appeared on Broadway in Caroline, or Change; A Class Act; Victor/Victoria and Les Miserables. His off-Broadway and regional credits include: Make Me a Song; Endgame; Normal; The Immigrant ; Merrily We Roll Along, Robin and the 7 Hoods (Old Globe); A Funny Thing Happened...Forum (Goodspeed);My Name is Asher Lev (Arden);Dancing in the Dark (Old Globe); Merrily We Roll Along (Sondheim Celebration, DC); Art (Hartford Theaterworks); Falsettos (Hartford Stage); Dinner With Friends (Coconut Grove). His film and television credits include Off the Menu: The Last Days of Chasen's; Isn't She Great; "The Sopranos;" "Law & Order;" "Oz;" and "Queens Supreme."

As previously announced, WINGS will star four-time Tony Award nominee Jan Maxwell. The company also includes Teagle F. Bougere, Beth Dixon, January LaVoy, Anne L. Nathan, and Michael Warner.

Arthur Kopit's Tony-nominated play, WINGS, is a journey through the eye of Emily Stilson, a 1920's wingwalker who discovers her life's journey is a series of courageous adventures, proving that even when her mental self fails her, her daredevil spirit proves unflappable.

WINGS will feature scenic design by Scott Pask, costume design by Ann Hould-Ward, lighting design by Jane Cox, and projection design by Peter Nigrini.

$30 UNDER 30 YOUTH ADVANCE TICKETS AVAILABLE - patrons age 30 and under may purchase a limited number of specially-priced $30 tickets in advance. Proof of age must be shown at the box office.
A limited number of student rush tickets are $18 and are available one hour prior to curtain.

For groups of 15 or more, special preview pricing is available for performances October 5- October 23 for $45.00; and $60 for performances October 26 - November 21. $27.00 tickets for student groups are available for all performances.
