Operafest at Den Norske Opera & Ballett

Opera fest brings together five great singers related to both past and future productions: Charlotte hellekant, who sang Carmen in Munich in 2007, reaping acclaim worldwide for its charismatic charisma and musical versatility. Torstein Kerl appears regularly at La Scala, the Metropolitan Opera and the Wiener Staatsoper. The young soprano Sirkka Lampimäki arrived-more to Bergen from the role of Queen in the Zauberflöte at the Finnish National Opera. She returns to BNO in 2014 to sing a leading role. The experienced, powerful baritone Béla Perencz, singing a lead role with us in 2014, has a long career behind him at the opera houses in Vienna and Budapest. Local girl Thorbjørn Gulbrandsøy has performed with us in a variety of roles as a baritone. The Opera fest he makes his first appearance on the main stage as tenor.
