Little Brother and Twiglet – now as an opera! “What! Is Twiglet going to sing opera? I thought he could only talk!” – Sverre, aged 4½ years.
Yes, this really is an opera about Little Brother and Twiglet, based on Anne-Catharina Vestly’s stories about the brave little pine root. The music has been specially written for children and young people in collaboration between the Norwegian National Opera Children’s Chorus and composition students from the Norwegian Academy of Music, with text by Torgeir Rebello Pedersen. The opera will be performed by soloists from the Norwegian National Opera Children’s Chorus and students of singing. This production is intended for children aged 3-12 years.
