Quite solo. The merits and qualities of Leif Ove Andsnes cannot possibly be described in a few lines; a whole book would be needed just to list the over 20 prizes he has won, to outline his involvement with the world’s best conductors, orchestras and concert halls, and to do justice to his more than 30 CDs. This great success is of course due to his musical talent; in combination with a distinctive technical brilliance, and an assured, exploratory personal interpretation, he creates scintillating musical experiences.


This concert marks the start of a European tour to mark the 25th anniversary of Andsnes’ debut as a concert pianist. He will play works by Debussy and Chopin.
