The Riverside Center for the Performing Arts in Fredericksburg, Virginia is excited to be the first regional theater in the metropolitan area to present Mamma Mia, starring Betsy Padamonsky as Donna Sheridan. Located at 95 Riverside Parkway, Fredericksburg, VA, performances begin on January 10th and run until Sunday March 4th.
The smash hit musical based on the songs of Swedish super-group ABBA, makes its regional premiere at Riverside. This international hit sensation has played to over 60 million people globally and its fans have fallen in love with the characters, charming story and ABBA’s timeless music. The story unfolds on a Greek island paradise when on the eve of her wedding, a young woman’s quest to discover the identity of her father brings three men from her mother’s past back to the island they last visited twenty years ago. Packed with ABBA hit song’s such as “Dancing Queen,” “Knowing Me Knowing You,” “Take A Chance on Me,” “SOS,” ‘The Winner Takes It All,” and the title song, this show is sure to get the crowds up and dancing.
