Virginia Stage Company to Welcome Back A CHRISTMAS CAROL
Virginia Stage Company's annual tradition, A Christmas Carol, will return to the Wells Theatre this holiday season. Over 50,000 patrons have attended this heartwarming production in the last decade to see the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future visit Ebenezer Scrooge and remind us all about hope, redemption, and love.
After one preview performance, A Christmas Carol opens on December 9 and continues with performances six days a week through December 24. Tickets for each performance start as low as $25 for children under 12. The best seats in the theatre are available for $79 with discounts for groups, students, and the military.
Special Events Include:
December 7 (8pm): Howard Hanna's Choo Choo Show Chow - Fundraiser for CHKD. Tickets are available for $50 and include the performance, food, and a silent auction.
December 9 (8pm): Opening Night - Stay after the performance to hang out with the cast, crew, and staff of Virginia Stage Company.
December 14 (7pm): Theatre for Everyone - Specially designed for individuals of all abilities including a pre-show learning experience with the performers, props, and special effects. All tickets $25.
December 17 (4pm): Military Appreciation Day - $25 tickets for active and retired military and recognition at the performance.
December 17 (8pm): LGBT NightOUT with Hampton Roads Pride - performance and post-show party at the Wells Theatre. Discounts available through Hampton Roads Pride.
December 18 (1pm): Girl Scout Day - Performance, behind-the-scenes tour, and workshops.
