HEATHERS: THE MUSICAL Extends at Firehouse Theatre

The co-producers of HEATHERS: THE MUSICAL have extended performances of their summer production that will now run throughSaturday, August 12.

The production was originally scheduled for a limited run through Sunday, July 16. The six week extension adds twelve new performances on Fri 7/21, Sat 7/22, Thu 7/27, Fri 7/28, Sat 7/29, Sun 7/30, Tue 8/1, Fri 8/4, Sat 8/5, Sun 8/6,Fri 8/11, and Sat 8/12. All performances begin at 7:30pm except for the Sundaymatinees on 7/30 and 8/6 that begin at 3pm.

Based on the classic 1989 cult-favorite film, HEATHERS: THE MUSICAL is the darkly delicious story of a brainy, beautiful teenage misfit who finds herself in the most powerful and ruthless clique at Westerberg High -- The Heathers. But before she can get comfortable on the peak of the high school food chain her mysterious new boyfriend has a plan to put the Heathers in their place -- six feet under.

Firehouse and TheatreLAB's co-production of HEATHERS: THE MUSICAL has been hailed by The Richmond Times Dispatch as "high-energy...a carnival of delights...dark and funny, rude and moving."
