His great singing, beautiful costumes and all the right moves will make you think the King has come back. Make sure you leave your house so you can witness the standing ovation for Danny Crouse's Elvis as he is "leaving the house" at The Historic North Theatre.

Danville has a couple of connections to Elvis. First, the real Elvis Presley appeared live in Danville on Sept. 20, 1955 at the fairgrounds. The second connection is that the "Female Elvis", Janis Martin is from the Danville area. She was an American rockabilly and country music singer. She was one of the few women working in the male-dominated rock and roll music field during the 1950s and one of country music's early female innovators. She was nicknamed the Female Elvis for her dance moves on stage and hard hitting singing, similar to those of Elvis Presley. Miss Martin worked in later years at the Danville Golf Club and passed away in 2007.

Mr. Alan purchased The Historic North Theatre on Friday the 13th, 2012. He is America's only World Champion Illusionist, having won the gold medal for Grand Illusion at FISM, the World Championship of Magic, which is considered the Olympics of Magic. He won the award on Friday the 13th and was using dressing room 13. He has appeared numerous times on national TV and 13 ½ times at the White House. He is also the only magician who has written a cookbook, Magical Meatless Meals-Famous Foods from Famous People and Places. It features secret recipes from celebrities, chefs and well known restaurants around the country, including the Loews Miami Beach Hotel, where he performed for its grand opening gala in 1999.
