Brand New A CHRISTMAS CAROL Comes to Virginia Stage Company

When Virginia Stage Company's annual tradition, A Christmas Carol, returns to the Wells Theatre this holiday season, it will have a brand new look. For the first time in more than five years there will be a new script, sets, costumes, music, and yes, even a new Scrooge! You won't want to miss this song-filled adaptation by beloved Norfolk director, Patrick Mullins.
A Christmas Carol begins on December 8 with an official opening night on December 9 and continues with performances through December 24. Tickets for each performance start as low as $25 for children under 12 and the best seats in the theatre are available for $55 and $79 with discounts for groups, students, and the military. For more information about group tickets and events, contact Heather Plym at hplm@vastage.org.
On December 13, Virginia Stage will open their doors for Theatre for Everyone, a performance specially designed as a theater experience for individuals of all abilities (with and without special needs). Patrons are invited to come early and participate in a hands-on exploration of A Christmas Carol To learn about the show before you see it, from props and costumes to lights and sounds. This performance will be without complete blackouts and with lower volume levels for some sound effects. Other slight modifications have been made to accommodate the audience. All tickets are $25 in advance and "pay what you can" starting one hour before the performance.
One Day Flash Sale on cyber Monday, November 27. All adult tickets will be 25% off. This will be the last time a discount this good will be offered.
Memberships are still available for the remaining shows, with packages starting as low as $20 per ticket.
