Alden Theatre Presents Time for Three 5/26

By: Apr. 13, 2010

McLean's Alden Theatre is pleased to welcome Time for Three (Tf3), the charismatic ensemble with a reputation for limitless enthusiasm and no musical boundaries, at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 26. Tickets are $32, $10 for McLean tax district residents. The performance will be followed by a free wine and cheese reception for ticket holders sponsored by the Friends of the McLean Community Center.

Members Zachary (Zach) De Pue, violin, Nicolas (Nick) Kendall, violin and Ranaan Meyer, double bass, met while studying at the prestigious Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia. While all three maintain careers in classical music as soloists, chamber musicians and members of the Philadelphia Orchestra and Baltimore and Minnesota symphonies, as Tf3 they unleash their amazing chops on bluegrass, Leonard Cohen, The Beatles and even funk in performances that are dazzling, moving and exhilarating. Although they have brought their genre-busting live show to venues such as the Kennedy Center and Carnegie Hall, Alden Theatre's 386-seat house with near-perfect acoustics will provide the audience with an even more intimate experience.

Tickets are on sale now! To purchase tickets, stop by the Alden Theatre Box Office, or to purchase tickets by telephone or online, contact Ticketmaster at 703-573-SEAT, or www.ticketmaster.com. For more information, call 703-790-0123, or visit: www.aldentheatre.org.
