The Public Theatre 2024-25 Season - The Public Theatre Non Equity Auditions

The Public Theatre in Lewiston will be holding local Equity Principal Auditions for their 2024-25 Season on Monday July 15 from 11 am to 4 pm at The Public Theatre, 31 Maple St, Lewiston, ME.

Equity members may schedule an audition appointment by calling (207) 782-2211 Monday – Thursday, 9am – 5pm (you may leave a message outside of business hours)

Local Non-Equity Actors may attend the Monday July 15th Equity Principal Auditions at the Theatre; however, due to Equity requirements we are unable to schedule a specific appointment time. Please call the office at 207 782-2211 and someone will advise you where there is availability in the audition schedule.

Please bring a picture/resume stapled together.

To audition, please prepare two 2-minute contemporary monologues appropriate for the shows listed in our season breakdown OR audition sides for roles in DRACULA, A COMEDY OF TERRORS or HALFWAY THERE will be available at the theatre. Sides can be requested in advance of the EPA at the time you set your appointment.

All acting roles are paid positions. Rehearsals are generally 12-8pm, Tuesday through Saturday.

The Public Theatre is open to non-traditional casting and encourages participation by performers of all races and ethnicities.
