THE MAD HATTERPILLAR - Stage Door Theatre Non Equity Auditions

Stage Door Theatre proudly announces auditions for our 50th Season production, “The Mad Hatterpillar,” a puppet-centric children’s musical written and directed by the talented Rachel Frawley.

Audition Details:

• Date: Monday, November 6th
• Time: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
• Location: Stage Door Theatre

About “The Mad Hatterpillar”: Join us on the enchanting journey of Maddie, a unique caterpillar who sheds her head at each new stage of life, stacking the molted heads upon her new one. What begins as a surprise soon transforms into an essential story of sustainability, acceptance, and self-love.

Production Details:

• Production Dates: January 26th – February 10th
• No puppetry experience necessary.
• Written and Directed by Rachel Frawley

Audition Requirements:

• Attire: Please arrive dressed appropriately for movement.

Audition Protocol:

• A professional reader will be provided.
• Musical accompaniment will be facilitated via an in-room speaker system.

Compensation:

• Actor Pay: $1200
• Understudy Pay: $400, with an additional $100 stipend for each performance.
