THE DINNER DETECTIVE SYRACUSE - Mohegan Manor
Casting roles in The Dinner Detective, a dinner theater production.
- Interactive, Improv Mystery Dinner Show set in modern day with no costumes and no serving required.
*Please note that the show takes place in a room with a live audience.
Misc Info
- Shows are ongoing year round 2 to 5 times a month, mostly on Saturday nights; only 7-9 company members are needed for one show.
- Actors are scheduled according to their availability, collected each month.
- Actors with improv experience are a plus.
- Time commitment for regular shows is 4-6 hours including a pre-show rehearsal.
- No weekly rehearsals required, you rehearse only when you are scheduled to work.
- Weekly show location is at the Mohegan Manor
- Private shows booked all over Syracuse; (If travel is require travel stipends are often added.)
Pay ranges from $50-$125 plus actor gratuity (varies) per show.
Upon completing the audition, we will make a decision on which actors will be asked to join our cast/team of actors in Syracuse.
If you are chosen, you must sign up for a show within one month of acceptance of role in order to continue as a cast member.
Must be available at least 1 time per month to continue as a cast member.
Cast members that complete 8 shows will received a $150 bonus and $250 upon completion of 15 show appearances.
After you apply for the role, production will send an audition date you will need to RSVP for. No monologues need to be prepared; will be playing improv games as a group. Just bring your energy and be ready to have some fun. Auditions take about 30-45 minutes. The show will rotate cast members based on their availability.
