The Actors’ Center (AC) Annual Auditions are coming back in February! They will take place on Monday, February 6th from 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM at Silver Spring Black Box Theatre at 8641 Colesville Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20910, and Tuesday February 7th from 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM on Zoom. The Actors’ Center is proud to be an integral part of the vibrant DMV performing arts community, and is excited to once again provide this opportunity for local actors to showcase their talents to multiple casting professionals in theater, film and television both in person and online.
During the auditions, actors will have 90 seconds to perform a monologue of their choice from theater, film, or television. The auditions will be recorded and shared with registered auditors for a limited time after the event, and all participating actors will receive a copy of their audition
On January 5, current members of the Actors’ Center will receive the link to register for a time slot and upload their headshot and resume. Registration will be open until January 27, 2023. Registration will open up to non-members on Thursday, January 19, 2023. If you are interested in auditioning, but you are not already an Actors’ Center member, please
follow this link to be added to the non-member pre-registration email list. Any actor who wishes to be eligible to register early can
join the membership now.
Auditors will receive their own registration link on January 9. If you are interested in registering as an auditor, but are not an AC Associate, please
follow this link to be added to our auditor list. All participants at the in-person audition day will be required to show proof of COVID vaccination and follow all guidelines as
outlined on our website.

join the Actors’ Center prior to the closing of registrations to be automatically added to our email list, get first choice of audition slots, and take advantage of our multiple audition prep workshops, which are free for AC members ($40 for non-members).
