Hershey Area Playhouse Announces Auditions for The Ghost Train

Performers are invited to audition for the Hershey Area Playhouse production of The Ghost Train on Friday, June 28, at 6 p.m. or Saturday, June 29, starting at 9 a.m.

The show is directed by Karen Gulotta and produced by Michele Robertson and will be presented October 10 - 13, 17 - 20, 2013.

The plot revolves around a party of train passengers, including a newlywed couple, an estranged couple, a self-indulgent young man and an elderly spinster with a parrot, who find themselves stranded in the waiting room of an isolated train station on a stormy night. The station master tries to frighten them away with the story of a ghost train that dooms all who see it to death. The Ghost Train was written by English actor and playwright Arnold Ridley and adapted for film.

The cast calls for nine men and four women of varying ages. Auditions will be held by appointment. Please contact the director at
