Children's Chorus Auditions

• Boys must have unchanged voices
• No taller than 4 feet, 8 inches

We will be holding a second round of children's chorus auditions for

Casting is for the performances of
Carmen at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre on November 10, 13, 15 (11 am student performance), 16 and 18, 2012. Rehearsals will begin in August.

Casting is for female flamenco/Spanish dancers for the performances of
Carmen on November 10, 13, 16 and 18, 2012. Rehearsals begin mid-October. Dancers should have strong technique; experience is a plus.

We are also looking for a young girl with training in flamenco/Spanish dance who looks to be between 8 and 12 years old.

Auditions for the young girl will take place at 10:30 am; auditions for adults will begin at 1:30 pm. Please apply in advance.

The Atlanta Opera High School Opera Institute

Applications will be accepted from June 1 - August 24. Designed for voice students in the 10-12th grade. Selected applicants will be invited to audition in the fall of 2012. Audition will consist of a song in English and an Italian song - both must be memorized. Individuals may also be asked to sing major scales or tonal memory exercises. Accompanist will be provided.?
