Playhouse Announces Auditions for Proof

Actors and actresses are invited to audition for the play Proof, on February 24 and 25 at 7pm with call backs on February 26. Auditions will consist of reading from the script.

Proof is the story of Catherine, the daughter of a renowned, recently-deceased mathematics professor who suffered a mental breakdown in his final years. When a revolutionary mathematical proof is discovered among the professor’s notebooks, Catherine must fight to prove who authored the proof while struggling with the legacy of her father’s mental illness.

This Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winning drama will run April 25 – May 5, 2013. The production is directed by Diane Shaffer.
