ORLANDO SHAKESPEARE THEATER ANNOUNCES OPEN CALL AUDITIONS
FOR PLAYFEST

Orlando Shakespeare Theater in Partnership with UCF will hold open call auditions for PlayFest on Sunday, September 21 and Monday, September 22, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at the John and Rita Lowndes Shakespeare Center.

PlayFest 2014, the twelfth incarnation of the annual festival, features readings of seven new plays from November 1 - 3, 2014. Each play receives twelve hours of rehearsal with the director and playwright for a script-in-hand reading. A stipend of $60 will be provided to all actors. Orlando Shakespeare Theater will follow the Equity Staged Reading Guidelines for this event. AEA and non-AEA actors welcome, and will be seen throughout each day. Walk
