Open to all non-union performers, as Prime Stage is a non-equity company. Actors are paid a stipend.

Audition dates:
Saturday, September 6th from 1:00 – 5:00
Sunday, September 7th from 1:00 – 5:00

Performance dates:
November 7 – 16, 2025, at the New Hazlett Theater

Preparation for Auditions:
Present a 2-minute dramatic, memorized monologue and bring your resume and headshot.

ALL ROLES ARE AVAILABLE:
Most actors will be playing multiple roles and will have to use both a French and British dialect, as necessary

CHARACTER BREAKDOWN

PLAYER 1 – Edgar Allan Poe (Male, late 30’s -early 40’s) A proud, refined and frail man.

PLAYER 2 – C. Auguste Dupin; Roderick Usher (Male, late 30’s to early 50’s)

PLAYER 3 – Officer Gautier; Wilson; Murderer (Male, 20’s to late 30’s)

PLAYER 4 – Madame Dubourg; Family Nurse; The Raven (Female, 40’s to early 60’s)
