MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET - Newnan Theatre Company Non Equity Auditions

Newnan Theatre Company is excited to announce auditions for Miracle on 34th Street. Auditions will be Sunday and Monday, September 10 and 11, from 7 – 9 pm, at Newnan Theatre Company, 24 First Avenue in Newnan. On Tuesday, September 12, those interested in being Christmas carolers will have auditions from 7-8 pm.

Miracle on 34th Street will be directed by Kelly Banks as the December show in NTC’s 46th Season, presented on NTC’s Mainstage on December 7-10 and 14-17, 2023 (Thursday, Friday and Saturday shows start at 8 PM and Sunday shows start at 3 PM).

Those who are interested in auditioning will do cold readings from the script.

Newnan Theatre Company does not charge production fees of any kind for a performer to take part in any production.

All roles are non-Equity and non-paying.

Sawyer (m/w) – Macy’s vocational guidance counselor

Bloomingdale (m/w) – Owner and manager of Bloomingdale’s Department Store

Judge Harper (m/w) – Of the New York State court

Finley (m/w) – Bailiff in Judge Harper’s court

Mara (m/w) – Prosecuting attorney

Halloran (m/w) – Judge Harper’s political campaign manager

Duncan (m/w) – Antelope keeper at the Central Park Zoo

Mara Jr. (b/g) – Prosecuting attorney’s child

Al & Lou (m/w) – Postal employees

Dutch Girl (g) – Child who visits Santa at Macy’s

Megan (g) – Child who visits Santa at Macy’s

Sharon (g) – Child who visits Santa at Macy’s

Johnny (b) – Child who visits Santa at Macy’s

There are also parents, pedestrians, shoppers, postal baggers (doubling is possible).
