MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS - The Windham Theatre Guild Non Equity Auditions

The Windham Theatre Guild announces auditions for Agatha Christie’s Murder on the Orient Express adapted for the stage by Ken Ludwig. The auditions will take place on Monday and Tuesday, January 9th and 10th at the First Congregational Church in Willimantic located at 199 Valley Street.

Just after midnight, a snowdrift stops the Orient Express in its tracks. The luxurious train is surprisingly full for the time of the year, but by the morning it is one passenger fewer. An American tycoon lies dead in his compartment, stabbed eight times, his door locked from the inside. Isolated and with a killer in their midst, the passengers rely on detective Hercule Poirot to identify the murderer – in case he or she decides to strike again.

We are looking for five men and five women to be part of this wonderful show which will be directed by Michael Young. Auditions will be cold reads from the script. Accents preferred but not required. The actress playing Ms. Hubbard may be asked to sing and dance.

Show dates are March 24, 25, 26, 30, 31, April 1 & 2, 2023.
