HERSHEYPARK SUMMER RESIDENT SHOWS - Hersheypark RWS Entertainment Group Non Equity Auditions

RWS Entertainment Group is seeking singers, singer/dancers, and dancers for Hersheypark Entertainment’s 2020 resident summer shows.

Hersheypark Resident Shows: Hershey, PA. Rehearsals start mid-May. Shows run late May/early June through the end of August. Pay Rate: $540/week. Housing provided. Non-union.

Seeking:

MALE SINGERS & SINGER/DANCERS: Any ethnicity. 5’8” or taller. Relatable performers who can command a stage and tell a story by truly connecting with an audience. Sensational tenors and bari-tenors with strong falsetto. Contemporary sounding voices with the ability to perform pop/rock and/or country material. Strong harmonizing skills a must. Must move or dance well.

FEMALE SINGERS & SINGER/DANCERS: Any ethnicity. 5’3” or taller. Relatable performers who can command a stage and tell a story by truly connecting with an audience. Sensational belters with strong mix/head. Contemporary sounding voices with the ability to perform pop/rock and/or country material. Strong harmonizing skills a must. Must move or dance well.

MALE & FEMALE DANCERS: Any ethnicity. High energy dancers with lean, toned physiques and great technique who are comfortable performing a wide range of dance styles from commercial jazz to theatre. Partnering skills a plus.

Audition Information:

Open Call for Singers and Singer/Dancers (Union/Non-Union) will be held Monday, February 17, 2020 at 10am (Females) and 2pm (Males) at Pearl Studios, 500 8th Avenue (btwn 35th and 36th Sts), 4th Floor, NYC. Plan to stay until 6pm at the latest if called back. Final callbacks will be held the afternoon of Tuesday, February 18.

Open Call for Dancers (Union/Non-Union) will be held Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at 10am (Females and Males) at Pearl Studios, 500 8th Avenue (btwn 35th and 36th Sts), 4th Floor, NYC. Plan to stay until 2pm at the latest if called back.

Preparation:

Singers and Singer/Dancers: Please prepare 16 bars of a pop/rock or country song showing range and personality. Have a contrasting second piece ready if asked. Bring sheet music in correct key; accompanist will be provided. Bring headshot and resume stapled together. You may be called back to move later the same day; bring dance clothes and shoes (heels for ladies).

Dancers: A brief dance combination will be taught. Wear form-fitting dance attire (women bring heels and flats). Bring headshot and resume stapled together. Dancers are not required to sing. Callbacks will be held the same day.

ALL performers MUST be 18 or over to be contracted.
