Production Description

Casting E11even a 15-minute short play by Jay Israel, which is being performed as part of the Secret Theatre's 2020 Act One: One Act Festival.

Synopsis: A troubled yet very bright 11-year-old girl confronts her therapist with an outlandish claim.

Roles:
Eloi (Lead): Female, ages 10 - 12. Any race.
A very intelligent girl who has little patience left for a world she feels does not understand her, an old soul. Strong adult language used. Adult actors who can play very young also welcomed. Required Media: Headshot/Photo.

Simon (Lead): Male, ages 35 - 45 Any race.
A well meaning yet easily exasperated retired therapist now a physics professor with no real experience working with children.

Rehearsal and production dates:
Performances will take place Sat. Feb. 1st, Sun. Feb. 9th, Wed., Feb. 19th and Sat. Feb. 29th. With possible encore performances on March 1st, and March 4th at 7 p.m. Exact rehearsal dates are TBD.
