DANCES WITH ANCESTORS - Marjorie S. Deane Little Theater Non Equity Auditions

The ChoreoJoey Project, a collective performance troupe, is seeking 6 dance artists for our production Dances With Ancestors, to be performed July 17th - 21th 2024 in New York City. dancers must be experienced in Jazz dance. Additional skills in modern technique, West African dance, or hip hop are also welcomed. Dance Artists should be comfortable with improvisation and storytelling. dancers should also be able to learn choreography quickly.

Rehearsals (unpaid) will be in lower manhattan tuesdays & thursdays 6:30-9:30pm. Rehearsals are underway, artists interested will be invited to attend a rehearsal.

tech week rehearsals will be July 15th - 17th at the theater, all shows will be at at the Marjorie S. Deane Little Theater in New York City. Artists are paid a stipend of $125 per performance for 6 shows for a total $750 on the final night of performances.
