A CHRISTMAS CAROL: THE MUSICAL - Centenary Stage Company

Local, non-equity auditions for Alan Menken and Lynn Ahren’s A Christmas Carol: The Musical will be held at the Centenary Stage Company (CSC) on Sept 28 and 30 in Hackettstown. Auditions will be held at The Lackland Center for Performing Arts (715 Grand Ave), on the campus of Centenary College from 5-9 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28, and from 3-6 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 30.

The production will be directed & choreographed by Broadway Veteran Michael Blevins.

CSC is seeking actors, singers and dancers – specifically strong dancers who sing and singers who dance - for this upbeat lively version of the classic tale. Performers should prepare 16-32 bars of a song from the traditional musical theatre genre and be prepared to dance. Currently all roles are open, and CSC is seeking a diverse company. Ethnic performers are strongly encouraged to attend.

CSC is also seeking musicians for the Pit Orchestra. Interested musicians should contact Carl Wallnau, producing director at
908 979 0900.

All performance positions will be paid for this production.

The play will be performed in the Sitnik Theatre of the Lackland Center, opening Nov. 29 and running throughDec 15, with performances Wednesdays through Sundays. For more information contact the CSC at
