Southern Rep And WWNO Presents NEW ORLEANS NOIR: THE RADIO PLAYS 12/30
Southern Rep is storming the airwaves. In a one night only event, Southern Rep and WWNO present NEW ORLEANS NOIR, a Live Recording of two Radio Plays to be aired by WWNO. Two new radio plays, each featuring the city of New Orleans as the central character, have been commissioned for this special event by local favorites, Greg Herren (fiction writer of Chanse MacLeod Mysteries and Scotty Bradley Mystery Series) and Julie Smith (fiction writer of New Orleans Noir short stories). NEW ORLEANS NOIR will be performed at Southern Rep on Thursday December 30th at 7pm. Admission to this event is FREE.

The cast features local favorites Sean Glazebrook (WITH A BANG, THE FOUR OF US), Matthew Mickal (DEBAUCHERY: THE SOAP OPERA), Sean Patterson (DEBAUCHERY: THE SOAP OPERA, FOR BETTER) and Mandy Zirkenbach (DEBAUCHERY: THE SOAP OPERA). Southern Rep began this project in conjunction with WWNO in 2009, and is excited to finally present this unique offering to the New Orleans community.WWNO is excited to be collaborating with Southern Rep to bring together great talent for this uniquely New Orleans performance and broadcast.
