The public is invited to come show their support for and join Rivertown Theaters for the Performing Arts for their Season Announcement celebration and be the first to learn the exciting line-up for the 2014-2015 season.

The evening promises to be a lively event featuring a silent auction, refreshments and musical performances from all of next season's shows including a sneak peek number from Under the Boardwalk opening Jan 10, 2014.

The event, the only fundraiser for Rivertown Theaters, will take place tonight, January 3, 2014, from 7pm-10pm in the Lagniappe and Main Stages at Rivertown Theaters located at 325 Minor St. in the heart of Rivertown, Kenner LA . Plenty of parking is available on the streets around the theater.

"This year's event is especially important to us...Rivertown Theaters needs the general public's help more than ever," said Kelly Fouchi, co-artistic director. "The critics are unanimous in their high praise and glowing reviews for the high quality of our productions showcasing the many performers from around the city. But we could not have accomplished this success without the support of the general public. We do not receive any local or state government subsidies or grants so we rely on private company and individual sponsorships, ticket sales and season subscriptions to help us continue bringing "best of Broadway" shows and locally-written productions to the New Orleans area."

Tickets are only $20 per person and include a silent auction of unique theatrical experiences as well as hotel stays, dining certificates and many other items. For tickets, call the Box Office: (504) 461-9475 or 468-7221 or visit www.RivertownTheaters.com.
