Hello Dolly is the opening production of the 39th Summer Theatre Season at the Abbeville Opera House with performances on Friday and Saturday at 8pm on June 9, 10, 16, 17 and 23. There will be three Saturday matinees at 3pm on June 10, 17 and 24. Tickets are $20 for adults, $18 for seniors and military and $10 for students.

The Opera House production stars MaryJane Swygert as the turn-of-the-century matchmaker and "woman who arranges things." The large Opera House ensemble features Dave DiGeronimo as Horace Vandergelder, Paige Whitman as Ernestina, Boyd Galloway as Ambrose, Kaitlyn Crocker as Ermengarde, Ryan Ball as Cornelius, David LaTorre as Barnaby, Sydney Wells as Minnie Fay, Heather Glew as Irene Malloy, MaryAnne Campbell as Mrs. Rose, Blaine Hicklin as Rudolph, Taylor McNair as Stanley, Carl Whitman as the Judge, Jimmy Wilson as the Police Officer, and AddrIan Wilson as the Court Clerk. Members of the Ensemble include: Kimberly Broome, Danielle Gentry, Janean Thomason and Kathy Bernard. Musical Direction is by Don Shabkie, Choreography by Lisa McConnell with Kathy Genevie and MaryAnne Campbell serving as Stage Managers.
