BWW Reviews: MEET THE MIDTOWN MEN on Louisiana Public Broadcasting

Turn on those TVs and set those DVRs! THE MIDTOWN MEN will be on TVs all across Louisiana on Louisiana Public Broadcasting (LPB) this coming Saturday, August 8th at 9:00pm. Who are THE MIDTOWN MEN, you ask? Well... these guys are something special. Christian Hoff (read interview here), Michael Longoria, Daniel Reichard, and J. Robert Spencer are four cast members from the original Broadway cast of the hit JERSEY BOYS. They formed a band together and now tour the country singing popular hits from the 60s, and boy are they great!

THE MIDTOWN MEN were in New Orleans not long ago performing at the Mahalia Jackson Theater for a Team Gleason Event that I was privileged to attend. Aside from being the nicest people you could ever meet, they have talent and charisma that many performers can only ASPiRE to have.

In their television special MEET THE MIDTOWN MEN, the guys will be giving audiences a behind the scenes look into their lives as performing artists. They will share their personal stories as well as their career highlights, and we will see how the JERSEY BOYS friends turned into THE MIDTOWN MEN brothers. The men will even be performing some of their favorite tunes such as "Big Girls Don't Cry," "Up On The Roof," "California Dreamin'," "Happy Together," and "Cry for Me."

But, that's not all! Viewers who tune in and make a donation to Louisiana Public Broadcasting during the segment may receive VIP seats to see THE MIDTOWN MEN live in concert at the Paragon Casino. The concert will take place on August 15th at 8:00pm.
