Touch A Truck in Downtown Hammonton This Weekend

The 3rd Annual outdoor Touch A Truck event will be held on Sunday, August 27th. This free event will take place in Downtown Hammonton from 12pm to 4pm and is hosted by MainStreet Hammonton and sponsored by Toy Market. Touch A Truck will feature up close encounters with big trucks, construction equipment, tractors and more. There will be interactive games, music and giveaways for children and their families.

Touch A Truck attracts children and families from throughout the region. This year's event promises to be even larger. Free activities include access to all trucks, vehicles and equipment, along with Children's Drivers Licenses (CDLs), a sand pile, a LEGO vehicle building area, free games and prizes.

Kelly Donio, owner of Toy Market and creator of the event, commented, "As a parent of a son and two daughters, I know firsthand how important interactive experiences like Touch A Truck are in creating fun ways to grow. This is one of our favorite events of the year."

The event will take place behind the store, which is located at 200 Bellevue Avenue, in the Vine Street Parking and on 2nd Street in Hammonton. 2nd Street will also be closed and lined with several large trucks and machines. Kitchen 19 will feature a Hot Dog Bar at its "Truck Stop." Other Downtown Hammonton shops and restaurants will participate.
