The Hudson School in Hoboken Presents BODY OF WORK Image

A play with a boat. And three actors. And the Moon, and a Lighthouse, and Origami. A play about the Afterlife.

Inspired by Prometheus Bound by Aeschylus, three unlikely strangers meet in an unusual and watery place to make connections, to draw conclusions, and to discover the value of what it means to be an actor. Jack Coggins, Florence Pape, and Adam Sentoni are the three actors who meet in this enigmatic and mysterious afterlife. The characters, simply named One, Two and Three, reflect on the past, look toward the future, and try to make sense of their present. BODY OF WORK is a moving and stirring tribute to the life and spirit of acting. The production is directed by Adam Sentoni.

Compelling, emotional, provocative, and comedic, this 90-minute play will be presented at The Hudson School Performance Space, 601 Park Avenue, Hoboken, NJ. Performance schedule includes four performances: Friday and Saturday, March 2-3 at 7:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday, March 3-4 at 2:00 PM. Tickets are $10.00 at the door. For reservations or for more information, contact Adam Sentoni: adam@sentoni.com

BODY OF WORK will be presented as part of a two-play repertory festival to benefit the renovations of The Hudson School theater space. ART by Yasmina Reza, directed by Vivian Hasbrouk, will have performances the following week, March 9-11; and features Jack Coggins, Paul Perkinson, and Adam Sentoni. For more information about ART, contact Vivian Hasbrouk: vhasbrouk@thehudsonschool.org
Tickets for each show are $10.00, or $15.00 for both shows, and can be purchased at the door.
