State Theatre New Jersey Announces 2019-20 Broadway Season; SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS, THE COLOR PURPLE, and Morer

State Theatre New Jersey unveiled its 2019-20 Broadway Season, featuring eight fantastic Broadway shows. The 2019-20 Season will feature Tony Award-winning hits, beloved classics, and some State Theatre debuts. Season tickets for the 2019-20 Broadway Series are now on sale. State Theatre New Jersey's Broadway Series kicks off on November 8-10 with the Tony and Grammy Award-winning Carole King musical, Beautiful. The other shows in the Broadway Series include the hilarious and brilliant, The SpongeBob Musical on November 29-December 1; the return of Jersey Boys on December 3-4; the heartwarming classic, Fiddler on the Roof on December 20-22; the Tony Award-winning revival The Color Purple on January 30-February 1, 2020; the hilarious "gut-busting hit" (The New York Times), The Play That Goes Wrong on April 2-4, 2020; the beloved musical Cats on May 8-10, 2020; and the winner of the 2018 Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical, Once On This Island on June 5-7, 2020.

State Theatre New Jersey is offering season tickets to its Broadway Series. Season ticket holders are able to order their series tickets months before single tickets go on sale to the general public. They are also able to secure some of the best seats in the historic theater and those seats will remain theirs, year after year, for as long as they remain season ticket holders. Season tickets also come with many added benefits such as 20% savings off single ticket prices-like getting one Broadway show free-ticket exchanges within the series, and a bring your friends discount that allows single tickets (once on sale) to be added on at a 15% savings off single ticket prices. A new, and much sought-after, season ticket benefit has been added: free parking to all season ticket shows for any season ticket holder who purchases two or more 7- or 8-show season tickets.
