Roxey Ballet Announces River Town Hoe-Down Fundraiser

By:

Lambertville, New Jersey - The Roxey Ballet Company, a professional Dance Company that brings the arts to Hunterdon, Somerset, and Mercer County, NJ and Bucks County, PA, is hosting its annual Reach for The Stars Auction and Party on October 13, 2013 from 3-6 pm at the Lambertville Rescue Squad. Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for children/seniors in advance and can be purchased online at www.roxeyballet.com. Tickets can also be purchased at the door for $30.

The "River Town Hoe Down" themed event will feature a variety of activities designed to provide autumn weekend fun for adults and children of all ages. Live music will be performed by Reel to Real, a five member band specializing in a variety of music genres including today's country, smooth classic ballads, oldies, classic and Southern rock and even some original songs. Children will enjoy crafts and games at a party designed just for them while the adults will have an opportunity to bid on donated items in the live and silent auctions. The afternoon will also feature dance performances by the students of the Mill Ballet School, the Roxey Ballet Company's affiliated dance school, and the dance floor will be opened up for all to enjoy.

Mark Roxey, Founder and Director of the Roxey Ballet Company states, "This is our largest fundraiser of the season. Not only does this support Roxey Ballet's Nutcracker and other professional dance performances, but it also funds ongoing dance education programs for financially unable children. We so appreciate the support of merchants and patrons from our community who have generously donated their time, talents and items to our Reach for the Stars Auction. We look forward to seeing many familiar and new faces soon. Thanks for helping the Roxey Ballet Company keep the arts alive."
