RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER Returns to The Growing Stage, Now thru 12/22
By: BWW News Desk
The Growing Stage, The Children's Theatre of New Jersey, located in the Historic Palace Theatre on Route 183 in Netcong, New Jersey, will celebrate the holidays with last season's hit musical, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. After 12 sold-out shows, Executive Director Stephen L. Fredericks felt this is the perfect show to bring back for the holidays.
Fredericks states, "We grew up watching the show every year during the holidays, listened to its music by Johnny Marks, and the characters created to tell the story have stayed with us. It's a holiday piece centered around a theme of acceptance, of overcoming the odds and its told in a warm and funny manner. What's not to like?" This production returns today, November 22nd to December 22nd with performances Fridays at 7:30PM, Saturdays and Sundays at 4:00PM. Friday November 29th marks a special "Alumni Night", inviting artists, young and old from the past thirty two years to celebrate with the company. Also on November 22nd , we will continue our partnership with the U.S. Marine Corps and collect unwrapped toys for their "Toys for Tots" drive, which will aid in providing gifts for children in need.
