National Comedian Stars In One Man Show At The Union County Performing Arts Center

In honor of National Teacher's Appreciation Month, the Union County Performing Arts Center is ready to celebrate those who work in the education profession! Former Teacher of the Year turned professional comedian, Lucas Bohn will perform his hysterical one man show "Lesson Plans to Late Night" at the Union County Performing Arts Center's Hamilton Stage on May 19th 8:00 p.m. Tickets are $20 with a $5 dollar discount for teachers who bring an ID.

Lucas started his professional career as a 5th grade teacher while pursing stand-up comedy as a hobby. His first year teaching he was nominated teacher of the year for his district. "Lesson Plans to Late Night" is a one-man comedy show about the transition from elementary school teacher to national touring comedian. The show combines live storytelling, stand-up comedy, and a multimedia presentation. This show has been compared to "Defending the Caveman" and was called "A Comedic Multimedia Masterpiece" and "Hysterical" by Parade Magazine. Lucas has performed with notable entertainers like Jimmy Fallon, Dave Chappelle, and Kevin Hart. The show lasts 90 minutes with a 15 minute intermission.
