NJSO Family Concert 'Bravo Beethoven!' Celebrates A Classical Master
The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra celebrates the music of a classical master in "Bravo Beethoven!" family concerts on November 17 at NJPAC in Newark.
Audiences can sing along to the "Ode to Joy" from Beethoven's Ninth Symphony and hear music from the Fifth and Seventh symphonies, Leonore Overture No. 3 and more.
NJSO Academy Orchestra Concertmaster Caleb Shi performs Beethoven's Romance No. 2. NJSO Youth Orchestras Artistic Director José Luis Domínguez conducts; Samantha Ferrara narrates and hosts.
Performances take place at 2 pm and 3:30 pm in NJPAC's Victoria Theater. Interactive Pre-Concert Adventures begin in the lobby one hour before each performance; families can enjoy an instrument petting zoo and other hands-on activities.
Concert tickets are $10 for children and $20 for adults; they are available for purchase at njsymphony.org or 1.800.ALLEGRO (255.3476).
