NJPAC Presents Comedian Maria Bamford New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) presents stand-up Comedian Maria Bamford on Thursday, January 17th at 8 P.M.

Stand-up sensation Maria Bamford starred in the semi-autobiographical Netflix comedy series Lady Dynamite, lauded as "revelatory" by Entertainment Weekly and one of 2016's must-see shows by Variety and Rolling Stone.

She is the creator and star of Maria Bamford: the special special specialand of the cult hit web series The Maria Bamford Show. Bamford was the first female comic to have two half-hour Comedy Central Presents specials and appeared in The Comedians of Comedy on Comedy Central and Comedians of Comedy: The Movie on Netflix.

Bamford voices characters on numerous animated series, including BoJack Horseman, Legend of Korra, Puss in Boots and PBS' Emmy-winning series Word Girl. Her recurring role as DeBrie Bardeaux on Netflix's Arrested Development reboot was praised as a "standout" (TIME) and "perhaps one of the high points of the entire new season" (BlackBook).
