Kelly Briggs Joins Gateway To The Arts
Broadway veteran Kelly Briggs ( Les Miserables and CATS) has joined the summer educational program known as The Gateway To The Arts at the Gateway Playhouse in Somers Point,NJ.
Students will focus on the story of the song and will put together a book of music they can use at auditions including college prep.This will be a five week course beginning June 26th on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:30 to 3:30 and will finish with an evening performance by the students on August 4th.
The mission statement of Gateway To The Arts : To empower and educate young minds and develop a strong level of comfort that will transcend onto the stage and in life. This will allow participants to recognize how the role of art, theatre, and other activities help them to become better global citizens in the ever-changing world.
