Jessie Armstead to Receive Man of the Year Award on 9/16 at New York Giants BBQ
JESSIE ARMSTEAD will receive the Man of the Year award at the 2013 New York Giants Big Blue BBQ, which will benefit The Touchdown Fund: Score for Kids, Cardiac and Cancer* at HackensackUMC.
Former Giants All-Pro linebacker and Super Bowl winner, Jessie Armstead is set to receive The Man of The Year Award at The Giants 2013 Big Blue BBQ benefitting The Touchdown Fund on Monday, September 16 at MetLife Stadium in Rutherford, New Jersey.
The Touchdown Fund is an exclusive charitable partnership, a first of its kind for the New York Giants, which raises funds for the Joseph M. Sanzari Children's Hospital, the Heart & Vascular Hospital, and the John Theurer Cancer Center at HackensackUMC. The Touchdown Fund is an official partnership of the New York Football Giants and Hackensack University Medical Center Foundation.
Jessie Armstead said, "It is humbling to receive the 2013 Man of the Year Award from such a distinguished organization that I am blessed to still be very much a part of today. This event is not only the annual kick off to what will be an outstanding season but will raise money and awareness for children with heart defects and cancer."
