ImaginOcean Performs At The New Jersey State Fair at Sussex County Fairgrounds, 8/10

The Off-Broadway, Drama Desk-nominated hit show John Tartaglia <http://www.imaginoceanthemusical.com/> 's ImaginOcean has a soft spot for New Jersey. This month, the cast will make appearances and perform live at two New Jersey fairs and, in other Jersey news, the producers of the show have just announced that Casey Bartholomew, the co-host of NJ101.5 "The Jersey Guys" radio show, will join the cast later this year.

Top rated DJ Bartholomew will provide the voice for a new puppet named Ryan Starcrest, ImaginOcean's holiday disc jockey who will lead the audience in a holiday sing along for performances running November 10, 2010 to January 2, 2011.

According to Philip Katz, one of ImaginOcean's producers, "I am a big fan of Casey on the radio and think he is hysterically funny, and a genuine voice talent. We are excited to create this character for him and delighted that he agreed to do it. He will help make our special holiday performances engaging and fun, and get our audience and cast in the spirit of the season."

This month, New Jersey residents can see free performances of ImaginOcean in their own Garden State. John Tartaglia (creator, producer, and the voice of five puppets who star in the show), along with the cast, will perform at two New Jersey fairs:

- On August 7 at 2:00 to 3:00 PM the cast will do a live performance at The Middlesex County Fair in East Brunswick.

- On August 10 the cast will have a booth at The New Jersey State Fair at The Sussex County Fairgrounds, from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. They will have live performances throughout the day.

The Off-Broadway musical John Tartaglia's ImaginOcean is an underwater theatrical experience like no other. The innovative glow-in-the-dark show features extraordinary puppets, memorable original songs from swing to R&B, and a heartwarming journey of discovery for audiences of all ages. A trio
of loveable fish named Tank, Bubbles, and Dorsel are best ocean friends who discover a treasure map and swim off in search of clues. They take the audience along their singing, bubbling, dancing, jiving adventure, making new friends along the way.

ImaginOcean was created by Tony Award and Emmy Award nominated star John Tartaglia best known to audiences for his role in the Broadway show Avenue Q, and for creating and starring in the Disney Channel series Johnny and the Sprites. Tartaglia was born and raised in Maple Shade, NJ.
