Hilarious Comedy Show 'Cracking Up In Rahway' Returns Image Cracking up in Rahway is back by popular demand! The unique comedy event returns for a sizzling summer show. To be held on Friday, July 20, 2018 from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., at Patria Latin Bistro & Lounge, 169 W. Main Street, Rahway, New Jersey 07065. The show will feature local stand-up comedians from New Jersey and New York; with a special segment, just for the ladies.

The team behind Just Be You Performing Arts, produces Cracking Up In Rahway and often provides an equal opportunity platform to a diverse group of female comedians to perform. The July 20 show will feature New York comedian Candace Kelley. As well as, Vernita Bostick and Shari Linick, both of New Jersey.

"This show is fun, It's unique. Everyone just seems to get along; as if we've known each other forever, so there is that instant bond. No egos allowed. I look forward to bringing being female and dating to be risque in my act," said Linick.

"I am attracted to positivity and Just Be You Performing Arts is radianting with it," said Brandon Perrone, stand-up comedian from New Jersey.

The event is directed and produced by working Mom and producer; Mahogany Reynolds-Clarke, the creator of "Cracking Up In Rahway". She created "Cracking Up In Rahway" three years ago. It debuted at the Union County Performing Arts Center's Main Stage Café in downtown Rahway. The show grew tremendously and their last show at UCPAC in July 2017 sold-out. Since then, the audience has grown and now the show is on tour.

"We are so excited to be back in Rahway. Our show was born in Rahway, so it's great to maintain our fan base. It's also great to take this show on the road. We believe it's ground breaking and has opened up a lot of doors for the talented comedians. We are particularly thrilled to provide a level playing field and supportive environment for female comedians to shine," said Reynolds-Clarke, founder and executive director of Just Be You Performing Arts.

More than just a comedy show

In addition to the comedy showcase, the event features a romantic runway fashion show, sponsored by Anyae's Intimates, a local boutique owned by Sherry Hurato of New Jersey. Reynolds-Clarke brings this unique element to the show knowing her female audience will have a good time. The event also includes giveaways and vendors with a variety of adult oriented products.

Patria's is highly esteemed, with outstanding reviews of their authentic and unique Latin dishes. The restaurant offers an intimate dining experience. A live DJ will keep the crowd excited and engaged, playing top 40 club hits, house music and 90's R&B classics.

"Whenever I produce Cracking Up In Rahway, my goal is to create a unique entertaining experience for the audience. This summer show is going to be memoriable; because of the added romantic elements, geared towards the women who attend. Think of it like celebrating Valentine's Day in July! The venue is beautiful, intimate and inviting. As a hard working mom, I can relate to wanting a fun girl's night out. The DJ will keep the party energized. This show has something for everyone," said Reynolds-Clarke

Tickets are $23 in advance; and include samples of Patria's signature appetizers, first come, first serve. To purchase tickets visit: www.justbeyouperformingarts.org.
